Holiday Macaroons...Yummy!

I made these at Christmas time for a cookie exchange and they were pretty tasty...
and not too sweet like store-bought macaroons can be.
Hope you try this recipe and enjoy them as much as hubby did!
They're one of his new favorites!

Ingredients:
1 pkg (14 ounces) (about 5 1/3 cups) Flaked coconut, preferably unsweetened
1 can (14 ounces) Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
1 cup (6 ounces) Swirled Red/Green Holiday Chocolate Chip Morsels

Steps:
PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees F.
Use parchment paper on baking sheets (Neither foil, nor greasing works well for these cookies.)
In a large bowl, combine coconut, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Stir in morsels last.
Form into small balls and place on parchment paper.
Bake for 10 to 14 minutes or until browned around edges.

*Do not allow to burn or overbrown.
*Remove from parchment when cool enough to touch.
*Allow to cool completely before stacking in containers.
*Store covered, at room temperature.
*Can be made ahead of time.
*Yields 3 dozen medium size or 4 dozen bite-size
